Welcome to Blood Is The Currency

A project initiated by Stichting Nobel with the aim of creating a new generation of blood donors and make donating a fashionable thing to do.

To do so we are inviting popular fashion brands around the world to design and produce an exclusive item (a jacket, a jumper, a pair of socks, a shirt, an underwear, a tie...) that not only will make you look good, but will also make you feel good.

In fact, to have one of these items you can't pay with your money. you will have to pay with your blood.
It works like that: you go to your local donor association, you donate your blood, you get your donor card, you go the the nearest Blood Is The Currency point of sale to you, you get your item and you go out feeling as cool as someone who saved a life.
